Poll - Do you think the Cabinet reshuffle will have a positive impact on Ireland’s economic future?

As well as voting I would really like to hear comments on this poll.

We lack ordinary people, farmers and business people in the cabinet. How can a group of bureaucrats know what is in the economic interests of the country if they have never taken charge of their own business? These people are setting a course without any previous experience. They are, after all, career bureaucrats.

As an economic entity, we need to encourage more young people to create their own businesses and to use that experience to help the country move forward. It is a great shame to see so many young people and ideas being wasted on the dole queues around the country. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if a small business was paid a sum of money by the state to take on some of these young people and show them the ropes and make them more employable. We lack the brains at the top to push an initiative like this forward.
