Search for links on Twitter - even for shortened links with Backtweets

 Here is a way of searching for Links to websites that contains links within twitter, it is called Backtweets. This is a little different than a normal twitter search as it enables you to also search shortened tweets. Backtweets. is also useful for finding links that may not even contain you twitter Handle.

Here is an example by putting in my site: http://www.consultmark.ie/

Here is direct link to the search:

http://backtweets.com/search?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.consultmark.ie%2F

As you can see there are results with shortened, examples here are through Friendfeed and Bit.ly. Another handy feature is that you can create an RSS feed and add this search to your favourite RSS reader, mine is Google Reader.

I think this is a simple and effective tool, which is great for browsing, remember if you are using this for your business that it is linked to your business metrics. It can be used as a listening tool for Brand Management and Reputation Management.
